Rules of the Nackgammon
The new game invented by Nick 'Nack' Ballard
The difference between nackgammon and normal backgammon is in the set-up of the board: One checker is removed from the 13 point and another from the 6 point and are placed on the 23 point (see below). This leaves both players with four checkers at the back, rather than two as in the classic backgammon setup. The same rules and scoring system as regular backgammon apply to nackgammon.
Nackgammon games generally take longer than standard backgammon games; they also tend to require a greater degree of skill.
